Pop Fiction headlined this year's 31st Annual Freaker's Ball at Montbleu in South Lake Tahoe. This is Tahoe's naughtiest and longest running Halloween Party. Several thousand costumed and barely-costumed freakers show up. The event took place throughout the casino and its nightclubs, Opal and Blu. Pop Fiction played in the convention center. This was the longest show Pop Fiction has ever played, timing in at nearly 5 hours of music. Hey...when 3,000 half naked people are dancing to your band, you really don't want to stop! The event drew a capacity crowd of extremely sexy people. Pop Fiction rocked the house for over 3 hours playing everything from 70s and 80s hits, to everyone's favorite hard rock sing-alongs, to the most current hip hop and techno hits radio hits. The dancefloor was packed all night. Most of the members of Pop Fiction are very well know in Sacramento, as they came from another cover band and had been playing the clubs in Sac once a month for the last 6 years.
